Social Responsibility

The company has conducted several programs in South East Tanzania addressing a number of social aspects in the community. Examples of this include;

• Resettlement compensation as well as provided extensive financial literacy to those affected
• Construction materials for medical clinics and for renovation of classrooms
• Provision of educational materials to schools and locale libraries

The Nachu Project is expected to have meaningful social benefits for the Tanzanian community as well as have a low environmental impact

  • Increase job opportunities for skilled and unskilled people with a focus on available local skills and manpower
  • The SEZ allows for advanced graphite products to be produced, keeping IP and value-added products to be exported from TZ
